You are only about an hour from the bottom of the freeway, around 45 minutes from Mount Barker and less than 30 minutes from Murray Bridge – so throw on your favourite playlist and you will be at The Bend before you know it.

One of the biggest advantages of The Bend experience is just how easy it is to get in, get parked and get on with the action. With easy drive-in access and free parking close to key viewing areas, you can spend less time trekking across the venue and more time enjoying the weekend.

Forget the long hikes from distant car parks – at The Bend, parking is part of the experience. Fans can enjoy free parking close to the action, with easy access to multiple viewing precincts across the venue.

Whether you want to base yourself near Pit Straight, Turn 1, the southern precinct or your campsite, you can choose the spot that suits your day and get straight into it. A little planning goes a long way – pack the race day essentials like a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses and comfortable layers. Bring a fully charged phone, a charger or power bank, ear protection for kids (we’ll also have some available to purchase), and a camping chair if you are heading to a viewing area where it makes sense.

It is also worth planning for the full day – and into the night if you are staying on for the extra action. To help everyone enjoy a smooth, safe and hassle-free weekend, there are a few important venue rules to know before you arrive. AirTouch 500 at The Bend is a cashless venue, so make sure you are ready to pay by card or digital wallet across the site. Bags may be subject to security searches on entry, and all guests must follow venue staff directions at all times.

No BYO alcohol or glass is permitted anywhere in the venue or campgrounds. Alcohol purchased inside the venue can be taken back to your campsite where permitted, but outside alcohol cannot be brought in. A range of prohibited items also apply, including weapons, drones, electric transport devices, tools, pets, oversized furniture and excess fuel over 20 litres. Service animals are permitted, but pets are not.

Pass-outs will be available, but you must scan out when leaving and scan back in when returning, so keep your ticket handy. The Bend is also a non-smoking and non-vaping venue, with smoking only permitted in designated areas.
